1. Where do you ship and how much does it cost?

We ship to Italy, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States.

One courier service per zone — no express upsells, no surprises at checkout.

2. How long does delivery take?

Every ROMANTICO garment is made to order in a numbered micro-series — each purchase is a pre-order. We cut, number and dispatch your order within 2–3 weeks of purchase. From dispatch, delivery takes: Italy 1–2 working days, EU 2–5, UK and Switzerland 3–7, USA 3–7. You receive a tracking link by email as soon as the parcel leaves Milano.

3. Will I pay customs duties or import taxes?

Within the EU, no — prices include VAT and nothing more is due. Orders shipped outside the EU (UK, Switzerland, USA) travel DDU: orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes, payable by the recipient on delivery. These charges are set by your local authorities and are not collected by us.

4. How do I return an item and who pays for the return?

You have 14 days from delivery. The garment must be unworn, unwashed and have the numbered ROMANTICO tag intact — if the tag has been removed, we cannot accept the return. Start the return through the contact form with your order number. Italy and EU: return shipping is at your cost; on request we can send a prepaid label (€6.90 Italy, €9.90 EU, deducted from the refund). Outside the EU: you arrange and pay for the return shipment; import duties are not refundable.

5. When will I receive my refund?

Within 14 days of the garment arriving back and passing inspection, to the original payment method. We will confirm by email at each step.

6. Can I exchange for a different size?

Not at the moment. With around 10 pieces per garment we cannot hold sizes aside, so we keep it simple: return the piece and place a new order for the size you need — if it is still in series, it is yours.

7. How do sizes fit? Where is the size guide?

Our cuts follow 1970s proportions: high-rise trousers, structured jackets, shirts with long collars. All measurements in cm, taken flat, are in the Size Guide — the same table you find on every product page.

8. What are the garments made of and where are they made?

Every pattern is drafted and prototyped in Milano, and every garment is cut and sewn in Italy in numbered micro-series. The exact composition of each piece is on its sewn-in label; we are adding full fabric details to each product page as they are confirmed.

9. An item is sold out — will it come back?

Not in the same form. A numbered series is cut once: all 10 are taken means all 10 are taken. Leave your email with the Notify me button on the product page and we will write when the next series is cut — a new series, never a reissue.

10. How do I contact you and how fast do you reply?

Through the contact form. We answer within 24–48 hours, Monday to Friday. No chatbots — a person reads every message.
